Procedure of Apply:
Applicants must possess PhD Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution as well as appropriate teaching and/or industrial experience coupled with a proven research record. They are expected to teach at University level, conduct scientific research and undertake other academic and administrative duties, as required by the University. Successful applicants will be offered positions as Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor depending on qualification and experience. English is the medium of instruction and the University is seeking to recruit distinguished faculty in the following:-
CONTRACTS: One year renewable contract, competitive salaries depending on qualifications and experience; monthly local transportation allowance.
BENEFITS: Married and single status appointments ; rent free, air conditioned, furnished accommodations including basic utilities; two months paid summer leave each year; air tickets to Al Jouf on appointment, annual repatriation air tickets for up to four persons, assistance with local tuition fees for school age dependent children; faculty computer facilities including free e-mail access. University campuses have a range of facilities, including an extensive library and research facility, which are accessible to the University by computer and postal service.
END OF SERVICE: The employee will be paid an amount of equal to half a month’s salary for each of the first five years of employment; this is converted retrospectively to a month’s salary after five years of service and for each of the subsequent years.
