Operation & Maintenance Manager
(Johor, Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Pahang, Perak, Sabah, Sarawak)

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall maintenances & operations;
  • Ensure service levels are achieved as per agreed SLA to fulfill the Company’s mission and customer requirements;
  • Lead the Maintenance & Operation team in carrying out the daily field activities;
  • Formulate the Preventive Maintenance(PM)plan for shelter, tower, MW and BTS;
  • Network performance analysis and KPI reporting to customer;
  • Ensure capacity monitoring and systems update is initiated to continuously upgrade network performances;
  • To prepare proposal, budgeting, cost control, monitoring & implementation of network performance;
  • Review the current procedure and work flow in order to improve efficiency;
  • Ensure the site’s equipment inventory is correct and up to date.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunication/Electronics Engineering or other related field of study.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in operation & maintenance, network. handover, and implementation inTelecommunication industry.
  • Have management exposure and preferably have past experience in managing a group of operation and maintenance team.
  • Experience in setting up a new operation and maintenance platform will be an added advantage.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.
  • One year contract renewable.

Postdoctoral Scholar in Climate Change Science at UCLAThe University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences seeks a postdoctoral scholar in the area of climate feedbacks. The postdoctoral scholar will collaborate with Professor Alex Hall. The project involves quantifying feedbacks in climate change simulations and constraining them with observations. It could also involve analyses of simulated and observed climate variability. The position is nominally for one year, though it is renewable for a period of up to three years subject to satisfactory annual progress. Applicants should have a PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences or a related field, and strong oral and written communication, analytical, and programming skills.

Salary Level A (Completed PhD):A$74,129 - A$79,288 per year (plus 17% employer superannuation and leave loading)
A full time position is available for an experienced research scientist with skills in solid state NMR spectroscopy. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the University-wide NMR Facility, which has recently implemented ARC funding for a major initiative in solid-state NMR spectroscopy.
The appointee will consolidate advanced solid state NMR spectroscopic techniques to enable research in the areas of molecular & life sciences, medicine, materials and engineering within UNSW and with partner organisations, and train research staff and students in these areas of specialization.
A relocation package is available for an overseas or inter-state candidate.
This is a fixed term, full time position for a period of three years.
